Books I Plan On Reading Before They Become Movies

There are a lot of books being turned into movies this year but here are some that I’d really love to get to before I see the movie.

A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle.

Just look at that beautiful poster for the movie! I would love to read this before it comes to cinemas!

Hitting cinemas in Australia on the 22nd March

Simon Vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda
by Becky Albertalli.

This is what I’m currently reading and I’m quite looking forward to seeing a movie with a gay MC in it, and bisexual side character! The movie is going to be titled Love, Simon.

It will be hitting Australian cinemas March 29th.

Every Day by David Levithan.

I’m very curious about this one and hope to read it after Simon.

This beautiful film will be hitting Australian Cinemas on the 5th of April.

Ready Player One by Ernest Cline.

I’ve heard a lot of things about the book, the movie and the trailer for the movie-

The book seems like a big hit or miss for most people. But I’m personally looking forward to reading it and then seeing what they do with it for the movie.

Coming to Australian cinemas in March, 29th.

The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas.

There is no due date for this as a movie but it has been cast!! I’m loving the cast and can’t wait to see how they adapt it, I also can’t wait to read the book though I know it’s going to be quite heartbreaking.

Coming to cinemas some time this year.
